When a Texas chemical distributor needed reliable level measurement of their twelve hydrofluoric acid bulk storage tanks, they turned to Flowline. Extremely corrosive and vaporous, hydrofluoric acid is widely recognized as one of the most challenging liquids to measure reliably. Having experienced ongoing level sensor failures, plant operators asked Flowline to suggest a reliable level measurement solution for these challenging applications. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our robust LR20 radar sensor that’s unaffected by acid vapor or corrosion with its PTFE antenna shield. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the telemetry units, which monitor the tanks and alarm for replenishment. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
