Drinking Water Clear Well Ultrasonic Level Measurement

When a Colombian municipality needed reliable level measurement of their drinking water clear wells, they turned to Flowline. Clear wells provide a buffer between the treatment plants output and the water distribution systems demand. In which, the plant injects sodium hypochlorite to eliminate any remaining pathogens before the water gets to consumers. There the IC&E manager said he was dissatisfied with a different brand of ultrasonic level sensors, because they became erratic during peak summer heat, humidity and condensation. For this reason, Flowline suggested our UG03 ultrasonic sensor that’s unaffected by condensation. The ultrasonic sensors provide reliable level data to the SCADA, which controls the two clear wells.
