Wireless Chemical Storage Inventory Monitoring

When a Midwest chemical distributor needed reliable level measurement and remote inventory monitoring, they turned to Flowline. The company distributes water treatment chemicals to industrial, municipal and power generation clients from their transload storage terminal. There they wanted to replace corroded guided wave level sensors, and install a simple monitoring system that will push inventory data to their phones and browsers. For this reason, Flowline suggested our LR83 radar sensor coupled with our HB01 level monitor. The radar sensors provide reliable measurement and are connected to the terminal’s PLC for onsite process control. The battery powered level monitor periodically awakens to receive inventory updates from the sensors via BLE, and transmits that data via LTE-M to the cloud for their team to access.
