Cooling Tower Radar Level Control and Measurement

When a Texas HVAC contractor needed reliable level control of their clients cooling tower sumps, they turned to Flowline. They had experienced run dries due to float valve failures caused by scaling or corrosion. Their contractor said, “Hey my client needs reliable level measurement with volumetric indication, control and alarms in each panel. What do you recommend?” For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LR80 radar level sensor installed in a standpipe to dampen turbulence, connected to our LI55 level controller for volumetric indication, fill valve control, high and low level alarms, and 4-20 mA output to the SCADA. This solution is reliable, App configured and maintenance free. The radar sensor provides reliable level data to the level controller which monitors the sump, refills the water and actuates the alarms. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
