Reliable Cooling Tower Water Sump Ultrasonic Level Measurement

When a Northeast hospital needed reliable level measurement of their cooling tower sumps, they turned to Flowline. The seasons go from hot and humid to rain and snow, and the towers see it all. Hospital maintenance explained that previous high level float switches would occasionally freeze up and cause sump overflows. They hired a system integrator to redesign their water make-up system using non-contact level sensors that are not impacted by environmental extremes. For this reason, Flowline suggested our patented UG01 ultrasonic sensor that’s unaffected by freezing condensation. Installed in the manifolds, the ultrasonic sensors provide reliable level data to the LI55 level controllers, which actuate the make-up process. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
