Fracturing Acid Bulk Tank Ultrasonic Level Measurement

When an Oklahoma drilling fluid distributor needed reliable level measurement of their acid tanks, they turned to Flowline. The firm supplies hydrochloric, formic and acetic acid to drilling operators for hydraulic fracturing. Their bulk inventories are measured, and level data packets are uploaded to their supply chain. The suppliers complained that the data appeared intermittent during the early mornings and evenings. The I&C technician determined that prior ultrasonic level sensors were affected by the daily condensation cycles in the tanks. For this reason, Flowline suggested our patented US06 ultrasonic sensor that’s unaffected by condensation.
