When an Oklahoma fuel distributor needed reliable level measurement of their field storage tanks, they turned to Flowline. The company supplies farmers and equipment operators with diesel. Their drivers stop at a client site, pull a hose to the tank, stick it to guesstimate level, and return to the truck to start pumping. But pump how much or for how long? The operations manager said to fix this, we’ve installed a display on each truck with a 100′ quick disconnect cable that we can run out to a permanently installed sensor. We need a reliable diesel fuel level sensor that’s packaged in metal and will run off 12 VDC power. What do you recommend?
