Petroleum Storage Tank Radar Level Transmitter

When a California oil company needed reliable level measurement of their oil storage tanks, they turned to Flowline. Their well stream flows through battery tanks for oil, water and methane separation prior to being pumped to bulk storage tanks awaiting transportation to their mid-stream refinery customers. There the company uses SCADA and needed to replace pressure level sensors due to inaccuracies caused by density changes over temperature, and diaphragm failures caused by clogging over time.
