Corrosive Acid Storage Tank Radar Level Transmitter

When a chemical distributor needed reliable level measurement of their acid terminal storage tanks, they turned to Flowline. The firm supplies sulfuric, hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids to bulk users and resellers throughout the Northeast. The plant manager needed to update their level sensors and emphasized the importance of reliability, corrosion resistance and ease of use. He also wanted to test a sample in their 38% hydrochloric torture tank before moving forward. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LR80 radar sensor that’s reliable, simple to install and configure, and encapsulated in corrosion-resistance PVDF. Six quiet months later, the rest of the tanks were rolled out. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the PLC which monitors the terminal and controls the tanks.
