Reliable Level Measurement with Integral Control

When an Arizona municipality needed reliable level measurement and three-point alarm actuation from one device, they turned to Flowline. The I&C tech said they needed to replace a failed submersible pressure level sensor on a bleach tank. They also wanted to install LED alarms (low, full, high) at the truck station so the driver can monitor the tanks status during filling. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our DL24 ultrasonic sensor. The multi-function level sensor has an analog output with four configurable relays that provide alarm, fill or empty and even duplex pump control. This saved them thousands versus the alternative of installing a separate level controller or indicator tied into the SCADA. The ultrasonic sensor provides reliable level data to the SCADA that monitors the tank and alarms for replenishment. The integral relays actuate the LED indicators at the truck fill station.
