Reliable Shipyard Wireless Tank Level Monitoring

When a California shipyard needed reliable level monitoring of their floating dry dock ballast tanks, they turned to Flowline. The dry docks have been decommissioned and are awaiting their eventual disassembly and removal from the shipyard. The yard foreman contacted Flowline and said, “I’ve got eight ballast tanks that need level measurement with pump control to mitigate the leaks. I also want the level data and alarm notifications pushed to my maintenance team’s phones.” For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LR80 radar sensor, LC52 level controller and HB01 level monitor that transmits wireless data to our LevelTap app and levelhub.io website. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the controllers which actuate the pumps. The wireless monitors receive BLE data from the sensors and transmit that data via LTE-M.
