When a Canadian hospital needed reliable level measurement of their cooling tower sumps, they turned to Flowline. The rooftop tower ran dry a few times and maintenance traced the problem back to corroded conductance level switch electrodes. The maintenance lead contacted Flowline and said, “I need a reliable, non-contact level sensor that I can install outside the tower in a standpipe. I also need a level indicator with alarms that I can install in our maintenance office for monitoring.” For this reason, Flowline suggested our LR80 radar sensor and LI55 level controller. After installation, he said “EchoBeam was easy to setup and its working flawlessly with our building automation system. “The radar sensor provides reliable level data to the DCS, which monitors the tower, controls its refill and repeats the signal to the controller. Flowline is reliable measurement. |
