Data Center Diesel Fuel Generator Radar Level Measurement

When a Hawaii data center needed reliable level measurement of their diesel generator tanks, they turned to Flowline. The co-location company delivers internet connectivity and cloud services to hundreds of public and private companies with zero downtime requirements. To that end, they wanted to install new level sensors on their generator tanks, that would enable accurate, real-time monitoring of fuel levels across multiple facilities. Further, they required a digital output to directly integrate with their network management system. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LR81 radar sensor with Modbus signal output. After deployment the integrator said, “These were super easy to install and configure with the LevelTap app , and it worked right away.” The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the NMS which monitors the tanks and alarms for diesel refill.
