When the Xishiqiao Water Plant needed reliable level measurement of their clarifiers, they turned to Flowline. Water is pumped from the Changjiang river into each clarifier, where it slowly drains and passes through the sand filters. The process is level driven, and the operators were dissatisfied with a different ultrasonic level sensor brand that was unstable in the mornings, when condensation buildup attenuated their acoustic signals. For this reason, Flowline suggested our patented UG06 ultrasonic sensor that’s unaffected by condensation. The ultrasonic sensors provide reliable level data to the SCADA, which monitors each clarifier and controls the infill rate. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
