Municipal Bleach Storage Tank Ultrasonic Level Transmitter

When a Midwest municipality needed reliable level measurement of their sodium hypochlorite mini-bulk tanks, they turned to Flowline. To begin disinfection, the city injects bleach into their sewer pump lift stations prior to pump transfer to the plant. Bleach is highly corrosive and mildly vaporous in low concentrations. Plant operators were dissatisfied with a prior ultrasonic level sensor that became unstable during the humid summer months, when condensation attenuated its acoustic signals, and they needed reliable level measurement. For this reason, Flowline suggested our patented UG03 ultrasonic sensor that’s unaffected by condensation.
