Non-Invasive Chemical Tank Radar Level Measurement

When an East Coast chemical distributor needed reliable non-invasive level measurement of their customer tanks, they turned to Flowline. The firm distributes a full range of industrial and municipal chemicals, and they recently added a remote tank monitoring system to better serve their customers. In so, they uncovered a major question. How can we reliably install level sensors in customer tanks without disrupting their operation, and worst case, do so when new tank fittings are required? The answer is our EchoBeam 80-GHz radar sensor installed non-invasively in our adhesive tank top fitting . This no hassle install works on any plastic or fiberglass tank, without any holes, damage or downtime. They’re also using this same technique to monitor IBC levels by simply moving the sensor from one tote to the next during tank rotation. The radar sensor provides reliable level data to the RTU, which monitors the tanks and transmits data packets to the cloud. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
