Surfactant Chemical Storage Radar Level Measurement

When a Boston chemical distributor needed reliable level measurement of their surfactant tanks, they turned to Flowline. The firm supplies a range of surfactants for industrial and commercial cleaning. Their storage and process tanks are insulated and heated to ensure proper flow through the facility. A system integrator was hired to select and install a single level sensor that can reliably measure all their chemicals, including those with sticky, foaming or corrosive characteristics. Additionally, they also wanted the same sensor to work across their bulk tank, mix tank and IBC applications. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LR80 radar sensor that’s unaffected by the media, made entirely of PVDF and flexibly suited for all tank types. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the PLC which monitors the tanks and controls the storage, mix and fill processes. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
