Drinking Water Storage Tank Radar Level Measurement

When an Arizona water treatment plant needed reliable level measurement of their largest water storage tanks, they turned to Flowline. Baking in the desert sun, the tall metal tanks hold up to 50k gallons each and are the main supply tanks through which drinking water is redistributed to their communities. In fact, the water treatment flow rate through the plant is regulated by the available water capacity in these tanks. Hence, these are critical applications and the operator required level measurement reliability under all scenarios. For this reason, Flowline suggested our LR20 radar sensor that’s unaffected by media, process or environmental factors including their extreme summer heat.
