Fire Suppression Water Tank Ultrasonic Level Measurement

When a California cell tower company needed reliable level measurement of their emergency water tanks, they turned to Flowline. Many towers serve the driving public and may be located in remote areas along highways. As towers are upgraded to 5G, the networks are faster, the equipment runs hotter and additional means for cooling and fire suppression is required. In remote sites without water service, fire suppression is fed by a water tank that’s periodically topped off by tanker truck. There the operator wanted to measure the tank level and push the data over their network for remote monitoring. For this reason, Flowline suggested our UG03 ultrasonic sensor that reliably measures outdoor water tanks. The ultrasonic sensors provide reliable level data to the network, which monitors the tanks and alarms for water replenishment. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
