When a Southeast supplier of dispensing systems needed reliable level measurement of their supply tanks, they turned to Flowline. Their client, a packaging manufacturer, required new dispensing systems for their water and solvent based inks. The project specification called for non-contact level measurement, redundant high level spill prevention, and intrinsic safety due to one solvent based ink. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our US01 ultrasonic sensor in the water based inks, our LR11 radar sensor in the vaporous solvent based ink, and our AU18 ultrasonic switch in each tank for alarming. The corrosion resistant sensors provide reliable level data to the PLC, which controls the batching, dispensing and inventory replenishment. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
