Water Canal Control Gate Radar Level Measurement

When a Florida municipality needed reliable level measurement of their water canal control gates, they turned to Flowline. The gates are intersect points between canals and they play a critical role in balancing and redistributing water levels across the network. An integrator was hired to install level sensors on several gates with the data being pushed to the cloud via SCADA. The I&C technician needed reliable non-contact level measurement and was concerned with the sensors exposure to rain, wind and turbulence. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our robust LR81 radar sensor that’s unaffected by environmental factors, and now approved by the USGS for federal and state water monitoring applications.
