SOFI Diesel Generator Tank Guided Wave Level Transmitter

When SOFI Stadium needed reliable level measurement of their diesel generator day tanks, they turned to Flowline. During grid power loss, three generators immediately turn on, maintaining stadium and broadcast power for their events. In front of each generator is a 58-gallon day tank pumping system that automatically transfers fuel from nearby bulk storage tanks up to the day tanks. The pump control is entirely level driven. The specifying engineer needed reliable level measurement with 12V battery operation, a metal enclosure and conduit termination. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our guided wave level sensors that are ideal for diesel fuel applications. During grid power loss, the LG10 guided wave sensor provides reliable level data to the PLC, which monitors the day tanks and controls the transfer pumps. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
