Sodium Hypochlorite Tank Radar Level Measurement

When a US water treatment equipment provider needed reliable level measurement of their client’s bleach tanks, they turned to Flowline. The water treatment plant injects sodium hypochlorite into their process, and they contracted to design and install a new chemical feed system. The design engineer wanted non-contact level sensors that are unaffected by corrosive or vaporous media, with integral push button configuration and a local display for the operators to reference. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LR83 radar sensor that’s constructed of PVDF, not attenuated by vapor, and is easily setup through the integral display module. These were coupled with our LI55 level controller that displays in gallons, and repeats the measurements to the SCADA for inventory management. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the SCADA for remote inventory monitoring and replenishment. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
