When a South Carolina water plant needed reliable level measurement of their intake vault, they turned to Flowline. Water is pumped from the nearby river into a 37′ deep vault. The well is a damp condensing environment that generates lots of condensation under the closed lid, or any other flat horizontal surface. Here the I&C technician was dissatisfied with a different ultrasonic level sensor that was unstable due to the effects of condensation on its transducer. For this reason, Flowline suggested our patented UG06 ultrasonic sensor that’s unaffected by condensation. The ultrasonic sensor provides reliable level data to the SCADA, which monitors the vault and controls the pumps. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
