Landfill Remediation Tank Ultrasonic Level Measurement

When a Nevada landfill needed reliable level measurement of their remediation bulk storage tanks, they turned to Flowline. Compacted trash layers are covered in dirt and isolated with plastic lined containment cells. Seeping liquid and stormwater runoff drain from cells to sumps that transfer the waste to three storage tanks for tanker truck pick up and offsite treatment. There the operator said that previous pressure level sensors clogged, required maintenance or failed due to corrosion. He went on to say, “These tanks see it all.
