Lab Sulfuric Acid Feed Tank Ultrasonic Level Measurement

When a government test lab needed reliable level measurement of their sulfuric acid chemical feed tanks, they turned to Flowline. The laboratory explores the forces that govern our universe, and highly concentrated sulfuric acid is applied in their process. While the tanks are inside, the delivery truck and filling apparatus are outside. This forced truck drivers to hook up, start the pump and go inside to monitor the fill, which led to problems. An integrator was hired to install a corrosion resistant level sensor in each tank connected to an alarm panel at each fill station. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our non-contact UG06 ultrasonic sensor. The PVDF ultrasonic sensors provide reliable level data to the panel controller, which monitors the tanks and alarms when full or empty. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
