When a Canadian hospital needed reliable level measurement of their data center cooling tower, they turned to Flowline. With administrative, patient and doctor data streaming through the network, their servers generate high heat, which left uncooled, will inevitably crash the network. Recent cooling tower disruptions were caused by float level switches that failed due to corrosion and scaling build-up. The maintenance tech needed reliable level measurement and emphasized the importance of robust scaling and corrosion resistance. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LG10 guided wave sensor that’s unaffected by scaling and constructed of 316 stainless. The guided wave sensor provides reliable level data to the PLC, which monitors the tower basin and controls the fill valve. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
