Chemical Batch Make Up Tank Radar Level Measurement

When a Michigan chemical distributor needed reliable level measurement of their batch make up tank, they turned to Flowline. The firm custom blends and distributes water treatment chemicals for chillers. The batches are made in a bulk tank which an operator fills to order with a specific blend and volume prior to pumping the batch to the mix tank for completion. There the I&C technician wanted reliable, non-invasive level measurement, volumetric indication in gallons, and a high level pump shut off to prevent tank overfills. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LR80 radar sensor that can measure non-invasively through the tank top wall, coupled with our LI55 level controller and NEMA enclosure. The radar sensor provides reliable level data to the level controller, which displays in gallons and provides the overfill pump shut off. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
