Resin Bulk Storage Tank Radar Level Transmitter

When a Midwest composite manufacturer needed reliable level measurement their resin storage tanks, they turned to Flowline. The company binds materials together with resin that they heat and store onsite for daily production. Formaldehyde based resin is highly vaporous, especially when agitated during tank filling. During which, operators experienced intermittent measurement from ultrasonic level sensors due to acoustic signal attenuation. They wanted reliable measurement and a high level pump shut-off. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LR15 radar sensor that’s unaffected by vaporous media, and our AX13 level controller for pump shut off. The radar sensor provides reliable level data to the PLC, which monitors the storage tanks and controls the process. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
