Ranch Livestock Water Tank Ultrasonic Level Sensor

Ranch Livestock Water Tank Liquid Level Sensor
Ranch Livestock Water Tank Liquid Level Sensor When a Montana cattle ranch needed reliable level measurement of their new livestock water supply tanks, they turned to Flowline. Cattle graze and drink from two watering stations on the property. Each has a well pump house that filters, stores and dispenses water to the troughs. There the ranch hands add powdered nutritional supplements to the tanks once a week. After a few months of operation, the rancher experienced tank overflows. Upon inspection, their contractor determined that the float level switches were clogging due to material build-up. For this reason, Flowline suggested our non-contact UG01 ultrasonic sensor that’s unaffected by coating liquid or slurries. The integral relays were configured to mimic the prior float level switch points, and thus required no changes in PLC programming. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
