Sewer Pump Lift Station Radar Level Sensor

Sewer Pump Lift Station Liquid Level Sensor

Sewer Pump Lift Station Liquid Level Sensor

When a Southern California municipality needed reliable level measurement of their sewer pump lift stations, they turned to Flowline. Over the years, the operators had used float level switches and ultrasonic level sensors in these stations with limited success. The float switches required ongoing maintenance due to material build-up, and the ultrasonic sensors became erratic each time foam entered the sump due to acoustic signal absorption. For this reason, Flowline suggested our LR30 radar sensor that’s non-contact and unaffected by foam. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the SCADA, which monitors the sumps and controls the pumps. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
