Filter Bed Skim Conveyor Ultrasonic Level Measurement

When a Canadian manufacturer of automotive cushions needed reliable level detection of their filter bed skim conveyor, they turned to Flowline. The firm prototypes and produces seat, arm and headrest cushions for auto manufacturers, and foam shavings are in their wastewater. There the shavings are periodically removed via conveyor belt and dumped in a recycling bin. The integrator needed a reliable way of detecting the presence or absence of foam on the belt with an absence relay to signal the VFD to turn off the conveyor. For this reason, Flowline suggested our non-contact DL14 ultrasonic sensor which has four configurable relays and a two-wire 4-20 mA signal output. The ultrasonic sensor reliably monitors the belt and the signals the VFD to stop the conveyor. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
