When an Illinois soybean farmer needed reliable level measurement of their grain cart hopper, they turned to Flowline. A belt conveyor moves beans from each silo to a portable grain cart, which then fills and transfers the beans to grain trucks. During which, the cart operator must maintain awareness of the bean level within the cart to avoid overfills or outages during truck transfers. The farmer went on to explain that this often happens, and he needed a level sensor to monitor the hopper with a display located down by the operator. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our intrinsically safe LR81 radar sensor that reliably measures grains with our intrinsically safe LI24 indicator mounted in a NEMA enclosure. The radar sensor provides reliable level data to the level indicator which displays the hopper level and alarms when high or low. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
