Hydroelectric Water Intake Radar Level Measurement

When a Northwest hydroelectric power company needed reliable level measurement of their lake’s intake structures, they turned to Flowline. Water enters the reservoir through two intakes and exits through a diversion pipeline to the powerhouse. During run offs, intake measurement is critical to manage the diversion gates for optimal reservoir level and power generation.
