Wastewater Storage Tank Radar Level Measurement

When a Midwest equipment manufacturer needed reliable level measurement of their wastewater storage tanks, they turned to Flowline. The company makes playground equipment for parks, schools and recreational centers. While the completed products are pristine, their plastic, fiberglass and metal fabrication and coating processes are dirty. Each creates significant waste that’s pumped to several holding tanks awaiting waste treatment. There the operator said that prior ultrasonic level sensors became intermittent whenever foam or floating particulates entered the tanks and they needed reliable measurement. For this reason, Flowline suggested our LR80 radar sensor that’s unaffected by foam and particulates commonly found in wastewater. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the PLC which monitors the tanks and pumps the waste. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
