Reliable Hot Wastewater Tank Ultrasonic Level Measurement

When a Northeast manufacturer of abrasive products needed reliable level measurement and control of their wastewater transfer tanks, they turned to Flowline. The company produces grinding, honing and finishing wheels for the auto industry. Their technology bonds abrasive grits to parts using heat, resin, glass and sintered metal. Hot wastewater from each process line collect in tanks, that slowly fill and periodically transfer into treatment. There the operators were dissatisfied with prior ultrasonic level sensors that became intermittent due to in-tank condensation. For this reason, Flowline suggested our patented UG03 ultrasonic sensor that’s unaffected by condensation. The ultrasonic sensors provides reliable level data to the LI55 level controllers which indicate in level height and control the waste transfer pumps. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
