Automotive Plating Bath Ultrasonic Level Transmitter

Truck Chassis Acid Bath Liquid Level Sensor
Truck Chassis Acid Bath Liquid Level Transmitter When an Ohio chassis manufacturer needed reliable level measurement of their phosphoric acid dip and rinse baths, they turned to Flowline. Prior to paint, each chassis is dipped and stripped in a 100º F. bath with 35% acid with 10% water based solvent. Steam rises from each bath, condensing on and corroding all nearby surfaces. The I&C technician had evaluated other ultrasonic level sensor brands, but each failed due to condensation droplets forming on their transducers, which attenuated their acoustic signals. For this reason, Flowline suggested our UG06 ultrasonic sensor that’s unaffected by condensation. The ultrasonic sensors provide reliable level data to the PLC, which monitors and refills the baths. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
