When a Wisconsin bacon processing plant needed reliable level measurement of their waste recovery tank, they turned to Flowline. Steaming wastewater steadily enters the tank with foaming grease, chunks of fat and chemical that the operator calls the perfect storm. There they’ve tried several different level sensing technologies, but all failed within weeks, and they needed reliable level measurement. For this reason, Flowline suggested our LG10 guided wave sensor that’s unaffected by steam, foam, coating or diluted corrosive media.
