When a Northeast water plant needed reliable level measurement of their bleach storage tanks, they turned to Flowline. Sodium hypochlorite is the most widely used chemical for drinking water disinfection. The only challenge is the reduced shelf life when exposed to sunlight or temperature extremes. To address this, NaCIO bulk tanks may be encased in foam. When so, a downside can be increased condensation within the tank. The tech noticed a correlation between condensation and intermittence of a prior ultrasonic level sensor, which he deemed unacceptable. For this reason, Flowline suggested our patented UG06 ultrasonic sensor that’s unaffected by condensation. The ultrasonic sensor provides reliable level data to the level controller, which indicates the level in gallons. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
