When a Northwest municipality needed reliable level measurement of a problematic sewer pump lift station, they turned to Flowline. Located at the city fairgrounds, the sump receives feces, grease, trash, paper, soaps and cleaning products. As the I&C manager put it, “In summer, we host festivals, concerts, barbeque cook outs and car shows here. During which, we can always count on two or three level alarms caused by clogged pressure sensors. It’s a costly nuisance and we need something that just works in this application. Additionally, we want to place a display near the sump so maintenance can verify its operation. What do you have?” For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LR80 radar sensor that’s non-contact, maintenance-free and easy to install, coupled with our level indicator and windowed NEMA box . The radar sensor provides reliable level data to the SCADA which monitors the station and controls the pumps. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
