Level Transmitter Solids
The 80 GHz radar level transmitter solids sensor provides reliable level measurement of silo, bin, stockpile, crusher or transfer station applications with grain, pellet, powder or aggregate solids. What is a 80 GHz radar level transmitter solids sensor and how does it work? The non-contact level transmitter solids sensor emits an 80 GHz frequency modulated continuous wave RF signal from its antenna. The 80 GHz signal travels through the air gap, reflects against the solids dielectric media and returns to the antenna. The 80 GHz radar level transmitter solids sensor determines the reflection signal time of flight and converts this into level height, distance or volume. 80 GHz level transmitter solids sensors are the most reliable non-contact level sensors as their robust measurement technology is unaffected by most changes in the application media, process or environment.
