Industrial Wastewater Sump Radar Level Measurement

When a Midwest manufacturer of custom quartz countertops, needed reliable level measurement of their wastewater sumps, they turned to Flowline. Comprised of crushed quartz, resin and pigment, the slabs are blended, molded, wet diamond saw cut and polished to specification. The resulting wastewater collects in several large sumps that transfer the media to storage tanks for treatment and reuse. There the I&C manager said they had level problems with pressure sensors that clogged with fine particulates, and ultrasonic sensors that functioned intermittently due to the surface foam. He said, “I need something that’s reliable, easy to use and maintenance-free.
