Greywater Storage Tank Ultrasonic Level Measurement

When a California sports park needed reliable level measurement of their greywater storage tank, they turned to Flowline. On busy weekends, the park supports hundreds of guests with one concession kitchen, four bathrooms and two outdoor showers. To conserve water, the greywater drains to a reclamation system that collects, filters and transfers the water to a hillside storage tank for gravity feed back down to flush toilets and irrigate planters. The park’s integrator complained that a prior ultrasonic level sensor became erratic during the hot humid months due to condensation, which resulted in alarms and system shutdowns. For this reason, Flowline suggested our proprietary UG06 ultrasonic sensor that’s unaffected by condensation. The ultrasonic sensor provides reliable level data to the PLC, which monitors the storage tank and controls the transfer pump. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
