Foaming Neutralization Tank Radar Level Transmitter

When a Northeast Agroscience company needed reliable level measurement of their wastewater neutralization tanks, they turned to Flowline. They supply crop protection nutrients and livestock inoculants that sustain and increase the product yields of their farming customers. At their manufacturing plant, calcium carbonate is steadily dosed into their wastewater neutralization tank, and the chemical foams when agitated. During which, the operators experienced intermittent measurement from a prior ultrasonic level sensor due to acoustic attenuation, and they needed reliable level measurement. For this reason, Flowline suggested our LR15 radar sensor that’s unaffected by foaming liquids. The radar sensor provides reliable level data to the PLC, which monitors the tank and controls the neutralization process. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
