Farm Irrigation Canal Weir Ultrasonic Level Measurement

Farm Irrigation Canal Weir Liquid Level Sensor
Farm Irrigation Canal Weir Liquid Level Transmitter When a California farm company needed reliable level measurement of their main irrigation canals, they turned to Flowline. Water supply and distribution is critical to their operation, and they manage it through automation. Pumped from the California Aqueduct, water traverses through main canals to feed individual crop fields. Canal levels are measured as water passes through weirs, and the data is transmitted via a LoRa to a central monitoring station. Their integrator said that prior ultrasonic level sensors were intermittent during the winter, when morning fog would rise off the water, and condense on their transducers. For this reason, Flowline suggested our patented UG06 ultrasonic sensor that’s unaffected by condensation. The ultrasonic sensors provide reliable level data to the operators that monitor and control water distribution. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
