Chlorine Bulk Storage Tank Radar Level Transmitter

When a West Coast chemical distributor needed reliable level measurement of their terminal bulk storage tanks, they turned to Flowline. One of the largest suppliers of sodium hypochlorite in the US, the company dilutes, packages and delivers bleach to industrial, municipal and commercial customers in specified concentrations. As bleach is highly vaporous, the operators had problems with prior ultrasonic level sensors on their big terminal storage tanks, due to vapor and its attenuating effects on acoustic signals. For this reason, Flowline suggested our LR20 radar sensor that’s unaffected by vapor or corrosion with a PTFE antenna shield.
