Chemical Sanitizer Remote Tank Level Monitoring

When a Northeast food processor needed reliable non-invasive tank level measurement with remote inventory monitoring, they turned to Flowline. The company makes candy and they use a variety of cleaning chemicals to sanitize their equipment and workspace between production runs. Their output varies based on demand, and hence so does their chemical usage. Their system integrator reached out to Flowline and said, “We’re looking to install a remote monitoring system on my client’s existing chemical tanks. Their concerns are the systems ease of use and data accessibility to stakeholder phones and browsers. My concerns are with how to reliably measure caustic soda and the overall ease of installation.” For these reasons, Flowline suggested our LR80 radar sensor mounted in our non-invasive fitting. The sensor connects to our LevelHub gateway via BLE, which then pushes LTE-M data to our LevelTap app and LevelHub.io browser. The first tank was installed, configured and running in 20 minutes.
