When a California marine rescue center needed reliable level measurement of their wastewater storage tank, they turned to Flowline. The rehabilitation center provides refuge and veterinary services to hundreds of sick or injured sea lions and otters a year. Most live in group pens where they lounge or play in exercise pools. Each week, the pools are drained, cleaned and refilled. During which, the wastewater is pumped into a storage tank awaiting truck pick up and offsite treatment. There the operators had problems with pressure level sensors that clogged with feces, and they needed reliable level measurement. For this reason, Flowline suggested our non-contact LU83 ultrasonic sensor. The ultrasonic sensor provides reliable level data to the PLC, which monitors the tank and alarms for pick up. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
