When the city of Wichita needed reliable level measurement of their water plant chemical day tanks, they turned to Flowline. Potassium permanganate and sodium hypochlorite are injected into their well water. There plant operators had ongoing level problems with pressure and bubbler level sensors due to coating or corrosion, and they needed reliable level measurement. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our non-contact DL24 ultrasonic sensor with a rugged PVDF transducer and IP68 enclosure that’s ideal for chemical day tank applications. The ultrasonic sensors provide reliable level data to the SCADA, which monitors the day tanks and periodically refills them. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
