When a New Jersey food ingredient manufacturer needed reliable level measurement of their pump lift station, they turned to Flowline. Thirteen waste streams flow into a single large sump that collects and transfers the wastewater to treatment. There the I&E technician had problems with an ultrasonic level sensor due to the acoustic signal attenuation caused by foam and steam. For this reason, Flowline suggested our LR30 radar sensor that’s unaffected by steaming or foaming wastewater. The radar sensor provides reliable level data to the PLC, which monitors the sump and controls the pump transfers. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
